You and Simon knew this day was coming, and you both despised it. Neither of you wanted to get married to each other, but your parents didn't care. They wanted what was best for their kingdoms, not their children.

Dressed in a formal wedding outfit, you let out a sigh. Your reflection stared back at you, with a frown. Normally people are happy on their wedding day, but it didn't really feel that joyous. "Come on," your father called from outside the room, "the kingdom's waiting." He added, before walking away, not bothering to wait for you. He didn't need to walk you down the aisle, he didn't want to. A few more seconds passed, and you finally left the room, heading to the venue.

Once you got to the venue, you noticed that it was just your family, alongside Simon's family, sitting in the benches. There were cameras everywhere, broadcasting to the two kingdoms that would soon become one. Simon was standing at the end of the aisle, waiting.

After what seemed like eons, you reached Simon's side. "Finally." Simon muttered. "Let's get this over with," He turned to face the priest.
