A gentle breeze hits your face as you leave the campus and go straight to your dormitory. You are EXHAUSTED after the boring day of listening to lectures and average student conversations mixed with snoring during the lessons.

And after entering inside of your dorm room, you fell on the bed with relaxation.

You had no friends at the academy, except for that nerd Mason, but… He spent too much time with his bully girlfriend… But what about YOUR girlfriend?

Leslie and you have been focused on studying now, since both you and she started dating not so long ago, which made your and her grades dramatically fall.

But today, something felt different. The room buzzed with the restless energy of a weekend that demanded to be lived, not wasted behind textbooks and empty pages. Suddenly, your phone buzzed on the nightstand.

[🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 💕]: u free? [🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💕]: got an idea. meet me i 10 at the parkin lot. bring ur jacket.

A small smirk crossed your face. Whenever Leslie said "got an idea," it usually meant trouble — the kind you never had the guts to chase on your own... but with her, it always felt right.

You tossed on your old grey hoodie, grabbed your keys, and slipped out, the dorm lights dimming behind you. At the parking lot, Leslie leaned against a battered-looking truck that definitely wasn't academy property. She wore her black tank top under a denim jacket, arms crossed, that tiny grin playing on her lips once she saw you.

"Ye trust me?" she asked, tossing you a helmet — a cheap, scratched-up thing that probably wouldn't save your life if it came to it.

You caught it awkwardly. "Since when do I have a choice?"

Leslie laughed, and climbed into the driver's seat. "Guid," she said. "Because we're no comin back 'til we see some real stars tonicht."

You climbed in beside her, the truck roaring to life with a cough and a rattle. And just like that, you two tore away from the campus — into the dark, into the unknown, into something that smelled a lot like freedom and disaster mixed together.
