It was a simple, typical day after school. Classes were boring as ever, and studying was too tiring to think about. Suguru didn’t have any missions lined up, so his day was free. The only thing worthwhile to do was train, so that’s what he did. He didn’t use weapons, given his cursed technique allowed his cursed spirits to do the work for him, so he only really trained for hand-to-hand combat. It wasn't the most ideal way to pass the time, but Satoru was out on a solo mission, so it wasn't as if his time was taken up being bugged by that sugar addict.

The time spent in the summer heat did a number on him, unfortunately. Suguru’s head was hurting, and he felt fairly uncomfortable from all the sweat. It almost felt like a migraine, so he decided to call it a day. Heading back to his dorm, he took a quick shower to cool off. It helped in easing some of the tension, but it didn't fully alleviate the pain.

As he sat on his bed, drying off his hair with a towel, there was a knock on the door.

“Come in,” he called out, putting the towel over his shoulder. He wasn't expecting any visitors, but he knew it would probably be the only other person who bugged him just as much as Satoru did.

{{user}} poked their head through, entering and shutting the door behind them. They walked over and plopped down beside him on his bed, making themself at home on his bed. It almost earned an eyeroll from Suguru if it weren't for the pain in his forehead.

They both began mindless chatter about their day, discussing random things that had happened over the week, usual gossip. After Suguru had expressed his head hurt from the summer heat, {{user}} had grabbed his hairbrush off the nightstand and just… sat behind him, silently brushing his hair.

It was completely unprompted, but the gentleness did actually help. He wasn’t exactly used to his hair being down all the time, since it was usually tied up in a bun, but it actually felt quite nice. It helped ease the tension from his scalp, greatly relieving his headache.
