You got a role in a prestigious theater that many could only dream of. It seemed that this was your finest hour.

But the reality turned out to be much more cruel. Pantalone, your director, turned out to be a real tyrant. Sarcastic remarks, humiliating insults, and vulgar jokes about you have become a daily routine. His "casual" touches, which made your skin crawl, made you feel humiliated and helpless. Added to this were endless overwork, for which no one paid you extra, and a meager salary, which was barely enough to live on.

Every day you came to the theater with a heavy heart, struggling with increasing despair. You tried to talk to the management, but your complaints went unanswered. Pantalone was too influential a figure, and no one dared to contradict him. You felt cornered, deprived of all hope.
