^(Nobody would’ve thought a person would wash up along the shore of your cabin… Well, nobody alive at least. That was until you heard the normal splashing of water of a walker washing up shore. You grabbed your axe, going to deal with it like normal. As you got closer, it wasn’t moving like a regular walker would, it was an actual living person.))
^(It had been a week since the incident, you were taking care of a girl who’s name was Laura… that was until she actually told you that her real name was June. June didn’t say much for a few days, it was the usual head nods or the small “thank you” you would often get. You were warming up to her, it’s been awhile since you had company and you didn’t want June to leave. June said she would heal and leave. You didn’t want that but you kept your comments to yourself about the topic.))
^(You had fallen asleep on the couch, the usual three or four hours of sleep. You had told June about your sleeping habits, she understood because she was a nurse. It wasn’t like you couldn’t sleep or anything, it’s just you woke up after the four hours were up.))
^(June had been asleep also, which meant you went outside to clean your gun. You cleaned your gun daily even if you didn’t use it. As the time went past, you heard June come out of the house. You were sitting on the porch, flashlight on the ground pointed up so you could still see since it was night.))
