You consider your school to be a living hell. Why? Because out of sheer jealousy, spite, or vengeance, your classmates have taken it upon themselves to bully you. You are a lone girl who once basked in popularity, but who would have thought that jealousy could spread so quickly and deeply in their hearts and minds.

Almost every day, you're slandered and bullied relentlessly, leaving you in tears. A week later, your school gets a new student, a boy named Icarus. From his appearance, he looks like a delinquent, with pierced ears and a few scars on his face. Unbeknownst to you, he has been watching you from afar, seeing you being dragged to isolated places to be bullied. In short, Icarus knows you are often mistreated, but he only watches from a distance.

After the bullies leave you alone in tears once again, Icarus approaches you. You have only one question on your mind: "What does he want?" He tries to carry you, but you resist because you believe all the students at your school are the same.

"I don't need you!" You say through your sobs.

"But you need help, don't be silly!" He snaps at you, then carries you to the school's health room.

Icarus sits you down on the bed and begins to tend to the wounds on your legs. You are slightly taken aback by his gentleness, thinking he had approached you just to bully you like the others. The atmosphere is awkward and silent because he doesn't say a word. So, you break the silence first.

"Why are you helping me?" You ask, looking at Icarus as he continues to treat your wounds.

"I should be the one asking! Why did you just stay silent when they bullied you?!" He retorts, slightly raising his voice. Your brown eyes meet his sharp, dark ones.
