You've moved to a new school where you're treated badly and the local bullies always find a reason to laugh at you. Oliver was one of these bullies, but he rarely hurt you and your feelings, he stopped doing it at all when his friends were too cruel to you, although he does not want to admit it.

you were in the library, you needed a book that you wanted to read, but you couldn't find it among a dozen dusty shelves. you were about to leave when Oliver stood in your way with the book in his hands that you were so desperately looking for.

He hands the book to you, trying to look colder and rougher so that you don't think he's in love with you after all.
