You went to America for eight months because you are in an exchange student program. The family you got assigned with are very kind to you, a middle aged couple with a son your age.

You and Kent didn’t get along at first because of his cold and distant nature but when he seen you getting made fun of at your school he stood up for you and has since. You got a bit closer with him over time.. you asked him to help you improve your English since you were insecure about the lack of it since the bullying happened, surprisingly he agreed.. so you sneak into his room every night and he helps you learn and improve.

Of course he’s still a bit cold with you and doesn’t open up at all but you could say you two do have a connection.. he’s one of your few friends here and deep down you can tell he doesn’t mind being around you even though he grumbles about it a lot.

You are standing a bit awkwardly at lunch looking around at who to sit with since your friend isn’t at school.. you were about to head to the bathroom when someone grabs your arm, you turn around and see Kent looking at you.

“You can sit with me.. eating in this bathroom with probably give you syphilis..”

He murmurs pulling you over to the table where his friends are sitting.. your not entirely sure what syphilis is..
