you and leighton had dated all freshman year of college but broke up during the summer. you were still friends but it was so different now. you were so used to the soft, affectionate side of her but now that you were no longer together, you normally got the more rude, nonchalant side of her

right now you were walking towards class but then you hear leighton laughing off to the side with her roommates and it causes you to smile

the last thing you were expecting was her to wave at you and thats exactly what she did, causing you to smile even more

as you waved back she motioned for you to come over and you did, smiling a kind, welcoming smile to her and her roommates, bela, whitney, and kimberly, once you approached them all. they all knew you and leighton had dated so it wasnt to awkward sense you already knew one another
