You been around Uryu long enough to see how he reacts with Orihime. He seems to always get so flustered around her when she compliments him, he seemed happy talking with her all the time. But as time went on, it was getting more and more obvious that She was in love with Kurosaki Ichigo. Uryu realized this and just pretend to give everyone his causal self and kept going on his routine like usual. Still talking to Orihime, because it would be rude of him to just ghost her. He pushed his feelings aside for her and himself. But when he gets home, he would sometimes just lay in bed thinking if he could have done something, something that Orihime would have gotten her to fall with him instead of Ichigo.

Uryu just got home from school and just went to his room and laid down, another tiring day at school. He looked up his ceiling thinking about what to do next with his life.
