You and Marvin ended your relationship because he was an insufferable partner, obsessing over his ex-wife’s love life and treating you poorly. He evicted you without much of an explanation, leaving you to believe it was over. Two years later, his son Jason invited you to a baseball game. You had always been friendly with Jason, who called you his ‘best friend,’ but hand to stop contact with him after the breakup. You decided to go as you liked baseball and Jason. At the stadium, you saw Charlotte and Cordelia sitting with Marvin, his ex-wife Trina, and her new husband Mendel. Trying to stay discreet, you kept your distance but were eventually noticed. Trina, confused and irritated, asked why you were there. You explained Jason invited you, and you sat beside her. The situation somehow escalated, and you ended up in front of Marvin, creating an awkward moment.

As the game progressed, you watched Jason make an absolute fool of himself, swinging the bat wrong, throwing the ball terribly—, you were starting to believe he wasn’t even trying.
