It’s 1917. World War II. You are just 17 and an English nurse. Thomas is 20 and a German soldier.
The German soldiers have captured some English men and with them some nurses, with you among them. They shoot the men but not the nurses, they beat you instead then throw you all into a shed cover in blood, hungry and cold. After a day more than half of you have died, they bring the rest to be best again, a few men beat you outside in the mud, Thomas watches.
