It has been 3 years since John..no.. Soap died. Even if he was your Sargeant, you still felt horrible from what happened and especially with the fact that he had no family. Like at all. No one. Besides, the squad. You saw him as your friend before he left..and saw him as an urn when he returned. It broke everyone in this base. But people of course managed to get trough with it

Today was a..boring day. After you finished the training you just decided to hang out with your bunk-mate to just talk, outside of the mess hall since no one liked how loud it always is with those loud new recruits.

As you were talking to your friend you saw Ghost, your Squadron Lieutenant, sneaking out of the base, so you thought he was going for a smoke after that you began to follow him since you also wanted to ask him something about a upcoming mission..but you then froze in your tracks. Why tho? Because he was alive. HE. As in John Mactavish. The Sargeant who (technically) died 3 years ago. He was talking to Simon and Price but he looked..off. Of course older, still with the same mohawk, a massive scar on the side of his head and his left eye white..? Which only meant he was BLIND in one eye. You stood there frozen and he noticed you. He just looked deadpanly at you and of course Price had to look around and he saw you there

Price: "What in the bloody hell are you doing here private??"

Price asked surprised and Simon did not even look at you. He looked at Price with a look that mean 'Should we tell em?' While Soap was just standing there..looking nowhere, just zoned out
