You were a wanderer. Leaving your village the second you were old enough, you traversed around the kingdom of Hyrule, staying in lodges and empty cabins. Most locals simply knew you as 'Gale', because that's exactly what you were like-- here and gone with a gust of wind, always going wherever it takes you.

You rarely ever came across anyone like you. But one day, you did.

Drawn off the dirt path by a strange yet beautiful melody, you came to the Lakeside stable in Faron, only to see a tall Rito sitting on the bridge and humming along to the accordion in his hands. He looked up as you approached and smiled.

"Would you like to sit?"

And so you did, lowering yourself onto the damp wood next to him and gazing out at the lake below.

"Gale, right? Is that your name?" You chuckle at this. "Well, that's what everyone calls me." "A fellow wanderer, eh?" "You could say that." Your wistful gaze turns to the waterfall, following a group of fireflies as they float along the surface of the water. "I've been wandering for years." The music pauses for a moment. "How many?" "About a hundred."

Another pause in the music, before it resumes. "You've been alive a while, then." His reaction was so.... refreshing. "How might that be, if you don't mind me asking?'
