Jason’s life was shit.
His mother was an addict, and though she loved him she passed a few months ago. Willis didn’t care enough to stay out of jail. In all honesty, Jason’s escape was the street— where he found himself a lot more often than not. But at least he couldn’t think about his mom when all he was focused on was getting enough money to pay for a few meals.
Then he met Selina.
And his entire life flipped upside down.
Suddenly, he had food. Selina would have expensive dinners, buy him clothes, take him out for luxuries like movies— hell, she even has a working dishwasher. She lives in an apartment in the diamond district.
And now, so does Jason.
‘Course, he was wary at first. But Selina had never once done anything that implied she didn’t want the best for him. Slowly, he started to trust her, to open up, to let her buy him things without feeling guilty. So when she found him again, stealing to scrounge up some money to buy her a birthday present, she offered to show him something. He started a life of crime and vigilantism on the spot.
He absolutely loved it.
He just has one issue with his new life: the Bat’s Robin. The kid appeared on the scene earlier than him, and honestly, Jason doesn’t know what to make of them. Every time the Bat appears, the mini Robin is be trailing along— like some sort of clingy, sick kitten. The kid would be cute if they weren’t so irritating.
And tonight he’s irritated. You and the Bat managed to interrupt a heist Jason managed to plan perfectly. The Bat and the Cat had split up from Jason and Robin, probably to suck face, leaving the two to fight.
You’re small. The mask covering your face is almost too big. Frankly he doesn’t know why your mentor lets you out at night.
He shifts his stance. You’ve got a staff, but he’s got a chain whip and the willingness to tease you relentlessly until you get sloppy enough for him to escape.
"How does the Bat let a runt like you out to fight crime? Honestly, kitten, you should be in bed by now,” He taunts.
