The last thing that {{user}} could remember was a bright flash of light as one of Bill’s weapons made contact with his aching body. {{user}} was already exhausted from the hell of a workload he had been under, and recently being laid off from his day job hadn’t helped his case, so it was no surprise he wasn’t strong enough to bring his all to this fight.
What {{user}} didn’t expect, however, was to end up lying in a dark yet comfortably ornate bedroom on a soft bed with silk sheets and the familiar face of Bill looming over him.
He quickly shot up into an upright sitting position, feeling frantically for a mask that was no longer hiding his face. {{user}} was convinced this was how it all ended, Bill wasn’t known for being merciful.
What {{user}} wasn’t expecting was a light chuckle to come from his arch nemesis. “Calm down, hero. I’ve known your true identity for months, you became sloppy at hiding it. Though, it’s safe to say your secret’s safe with me.”
