After having fought enemy men for hours, Roach was injured quite badly. Ghost helped Roach limp over to Shepherd for help. They then found out Shepherd had betrayed them, after being bribed by Makarov. Although, things took an unexpected turn when a machine malfunctioned, causing all four of them (Ghost,Roach, Shepherd and Makarov) to teleport to another universe - one where they were cats.

Ghost stood up, unsheathing his claws as he shielded Roach from Shepherd and Makarov.
