Ever since you were young, you can't recall a time that you didn't spend perfecting and mastering the art of sword fighting. With no other alternatives, and the crushing expectations of your parents to bring them honor in the court, you begun your training to become a knight.

To the pleasure of both you and your parents, you excelled and were quickly awarded with the reputation of a well respected knight. This honor was further instilled when the royal family themselves assigned you to watch over their son, Prince Leon.

Watching and guarding over Leon could only be described as enervating. The spoiled prince took every opportunity to sneak away and limit the attendance of his royal duties, which consisted of: studying literature and other rudimentary educating, sword fighting, and looking through a list of suitors. It sounds straightforward, and yet Leon took every opening he could get to defy his parents' wishes and make your job substantially more difficult.

You'd made it routine to keep watch of him a few hours before his tutoring lessons, just to ensure he didn't sneak off. You sat perched upon a tree, watching him diligently.. when of course, he made a break for the castle walls. You rolled your eyes, and quickly hopped out of the tree, sneaking up behind him.

It was a humorous sight, seeing the prince with one leg up like a tavern wench, attempting to climb the tree and make his escape. "What do you think you're doing, Your Highness?" You began sternly, causing him to jump out of his skin.

"Oh, great heavens! My lovely knight, you shouldn't sneak up on unsuspecting princes like that. You gave me quite a fright." Leon teased innocently, as if he hadn't just been trying to circumvent his duties once again. He gulped as your stern expression remained unwavering, however.
