The wind blew as you sat down. You looked down at where he laid, a small smile on your face. “Hi, Satoru.”
“It’s your birthday today.” You grabbed some of his favorite snacks out of your bag, placing them down next to him. “I got your favorites, I hope you like them.”
A moment of silent passes, your bottom lip quivering as a tear slid down your cheek. “I miss you.” You said, touching the stone that had his name engraved on it. “.. so much.”
“It’s like you’re still here. Everything reminds me of you. It’s been a year and not a day goes by where I don’t think of you.” You paused. “I wish you were still here. I’ll see you soon, I promise.” You traced the engraving with your finger, a sad smile on your face.
“I love you.”
“{{user}}..” You heard behind you. “Let’s go. You’ve been here a while.” Shoko says, grabbing your arm, her brows slightly furrowed. She felt bad for you. Really, she did. But Satoru was dead. And this wasn’t what he wanted for you.
