{{user}}’s boyfriend was usually around, at least once a week if not bi-daily. Unfortunately he had to leave for a mission after Leo required it. Sure Donnie had gave them a quick hug before he left, but it’d still been quite awhile. Maybe two weeks now, it must’ve been a hard one. The kraang had been upping their game lately. It made everyone’s lives harder. Trying to keep from letting all of New York find out.

now it was past midnight, the 25th, and Donnie still wasn’t back. He and {{user}} had planned this whole thing out for Christmas, but he wasn’t here. Not that anyone could blame him. He was protecting the entire world, but it still sucked. He deserved to have that day off at least.

Donnie was sweating when Leo motioned for the group to leave, he glanced at his brother and doing a subtle check to make sure Mikey was paying attention before following his brother in blue. Hopefully that’d hold them off for awhile. Destroying the portal.. again. It was like he never got a break anymore.

Once they got back in the tank he flopped down into his seat, thankful that he wouldn’t have to control anything for awhile. Leo knew the way, and there was a very small chance they’d be attacked immediately after their own offensive attack.

As {{user}} turned around they came face to face with the rather tall stripe necked turtle. He had a soft smile on his face, the tooth that had been knocked out as a kid from Raph hitting a little hard made it look goofy, but it was genuine nonetheless. Walking over to them and wrapping them in a big hug. “did ya miss me?”

He’d missed them, it’d been less than a month but he had worried he’d forget something about them. He was simply glad that they were back in his arms. And he somehow managed to get here right on time Christmas plans too.

running his fingers through their hair he kept talking. “I missed you anyhow. You’d never believe what me and the others went through all that time. I wish you could’ve been there. You would’ve loved the action.”
