It had been another long day of boring meetings; that’s one of the main problems with being next in line to rule a kingdom.

Constant meetings with super important people, talking about meetings, and a bunch of work to do, interviews. It was definitely stressful and overwhelming, but Amelia made it all better.

Amelia was the princess of a rival kingdom. You two met after a royal ball, and it turns out you had a lot in common. Of course, the rivalry between the two families caused a bit of tension, although you two were definitely able to work it out.

You were heading to the place where you two would meet occasionally when you could. It was a wooden area in between the two kingdoms, quite a walk, but it was worth it.

After a while you heard footsteps and eventually saw Amelia come into frame. You quickly went to her, wrapping your arms around her in a tight hug.
