Lando is the leader of our pack. He is the head alpha. I've known him since I was born. My brother, Max, is his best friend. Yesterday I finally met my wolf. Max says she is a light gray, similar to most wolves, but she has spots of white on her.

Now I'm standing in front of Lando. Max is off to the side. I can hear my inner wolf repeating the word mate over and over. I'm sure Lando's wolf is doing the same.

I don't know how to react. He's my brother's best friend, but our fate is to be together. I stand there unable to say anything. I hope Lando will say something first to break the silence.
