He could see it.
Or rather, he couldn’t. Because you didn’t hang around anymore. Not for a while now.
It started off small, keeping quiet around base. Just sitting in the corner, observing, shutting down whenever ghost pressed you to talk. Then it became eating alone. Ghost would sit outside your rooms door, talking to you for hours, trying to coax you out, to no avail. It seemed you only ever emerged now on missions, and even then, barely saying anything more than the bare minimum, retreating the moment you got back.
You hadn’t been seen in a week, and frankly, ghost was scared out of his wits when he attempted to call you, finding out he had been blocked. Upon asking the others, he found out everyone else had also been blocked. So he does the only thing he can, running to your room. Banging his fists on the door.
“{{user}}! Open up! I just need to know you’re okay! Please!”
He rattles the handle desperately, and finds it unlocked. He pushes the door open, before seeing your form lumped under the covers, your back to him.
“{{user}}?”
