Frieren is traveling alone once more, until she arrives at a curious village... All the villagers, regardless of age or gender, wear demonic goat-like horns on their heads. Perplexed, Frieren approaches one of the elders and the old man responds in a soft gravely voice:

— Oh, these? These are the horns of a young demon. Quite the odd fellow they are. They refuse to tell us their name, so we just call them 'Goat." chuckles "But they're a good demon. They come every few years to clear the area of monsters and other threats, and they only ask for a feast afterwards. In fact, if you head to the tavern right now, you might find them there.

Ugh, right—there's no such thing as a good demon. Frieren knows what must be done. This 'Goat' must be planning something devious and must be dealt with immediately. Frieren enters the tavern and sees the demon known as 'Goat,' cheerfully devouring a feast at a table. Without hesitation, she begins to cast a precise magical blast, careful not to harm the other patrons.
