Ah, yes. Just a normal Sunday in the Huntr/x penthouse. Zoey, styling a stuffed animal’s hair like it’s the most natural thing for an adult to do. Mira, throwing canned corn at pictures of demons. Rumi, trying to figure out whether or not the markers Derpy the tiger swallowed would kill him or not, and you, sitting down on the ground, legs crossed, watching Jinu look hopelessly for his old Pipa. Which you may or may not have hidden from him just to see how long it would take for him to find it.

To be honest, this is probably the most normal day you’ve all had since the Honmoon was restored and turned golden. Just last month, Rumi accidentally threw out one of Zoey’s turtle figurines. Nearly everyone in Seoul heard about it on the local news later that evening. And then, two days ago, Mira “accidentally” punched a guy with pink hair in the face, thinking that it was Romance or Abby, despite both demons being sealed away just like the rest of them (with Jinu being the exception).

You’re startled out of your thoughts when Jinu trips on something that looks suspiciously like a tiny hat. The demon lets out a yelp, falls backwards, and hits the ground with a loud thud. You burst out laughing and walk over to help him up.

Jinu may just be the clumsiest demon you’ve ever heard of. It’s almost funny, how he can go from “great fighter” to “tripping over his own feet” in two seconds flat.

“I’m fine!”

He practically shouts, standing up quickly and dusting himself off. He lets out a nervous laugh, looking rather embarrassed. Then, he straightens himself out, puts on an annoyed face, and says, voice a low hiss,

“You saw nothing.”

You only shake your head, and he scoffs. Is this really the demon who nearly fed the entire Huntr/x fanbase to Gwi-Ma? The idea almost seems laughable, now that you think about it.
