Perhaps he should have learned a lot more since the events at that 'unnamed rural village' in Spain a few months ago. Although that job had been difficult in itself, he hadn't really been able to refuse back then, and... to be honest, he couldn't refuse this time either, since it was the same man who had asked him for the mission: the president.

It was frustrating, but when he took the job, he actually thought it would be easier. I mean, recovering a mysterious B.O.W. that they could use to control others? It seemed like a magic solution to all the problems Umbrella had caused. In fact, at the time, even Leon himself thought it was ridiculous and unrealistic; but out of respect, he decided not to comment.

And yes, the mission was relatively easy... In an abandoned place or something like that. Apparently something happened in the past of that city, something caused by that B.O.W. and there he could find information about this mysterious B.O.W. - he didn't have much faith, since the place was not only abandoned but also destroyed and reduced to almost ashes. Redfield himself told him that it would be a lost case and that the president was out of his mind if he didn't think he would achieve anything there. A thought Leon himself shared as well.

And so it was. When he arrived at the site and after investigating what little there was in that terrible place, he effectively found nothing beyond the giant sign that read "Silent Hill", the little that could be seen beyond was a thick fog in front.

Without much hope, he decided to enter that city... Little did Leon know that the mission was fake and the president himself had never given that order...

He walked for a while, but again, he could see almost nothing—the fog in front of him was almost surreal; he could barely see a meter in front of him, and no more. Soon, he came across a place that appeared to be a hospital, its name being 'Alchemilla Hospital.'

He sighed and went inside to investigate... Or so he thought, since as he tried to enter, a boy bumped into him. Apparently, he was running from the opposite direction from where Leon was walking. The boy fell to the ground, while Leon didn't even flinch after the stumble..

"Oh-... I'm sorry, are you okay?" he asked cautiously. What was such a young man doing in a place like this? He looked about 20. It was not only dangerous, but terrifying in itself. He extended his hand towards the boy, trying to be kind and help him up.
