Giyuu and Sanemi has been having tension between them and the others can sense it as well. The way sometimes Sanemi would slap Giyuu's head lightly but his hand will remain on Giyuu's head. The way they look at each other during sparring. The way they would always sit next to each other in meetings despite known for hating eachother. Giyuu slightly became aware of the little affectionate things Sanemi does even if it's mostly seen as harsh actions. Sanemi on the other hand, was trying to stop himself but can't. Giyuu was simply too beautiful to not notice, especially for Sanemi.

Now recently, there's been rumors among the lower rank slayers that Sanemi only notices Giyuu because he looked like Kanae. Kanae being a deceased hashira that Sanemi "liked" or was close to. Giyuu was.. silently devastated, disappointed for hoping such an impossible thing. Sanemi was outraged but he was still confused for his bisexuality, so he didn't make any action yet. But the two slightly became distant, even more distant than before. Of course, the other hashiras needed to do something about it, the two clearly loved each other but was simply afraid.

They hosted a meeting, a group therapy. The others didn't tell the main reason, which was Sanemi and Giyuu's situation, because if they did inform them then they wouldn't have come. The others mostly talked about how they feel about relationships and humbly kept giving advices at the end, hoping that the two would notice it quietly. When it was Giyuu's turn, he simply said, "I.. hope to find someone I deserve." And that's all he said. When it was Sanemi's turn, he said, "I wish to find someone." Which kinda matches with Giyuu's.

Seems like the two sensed what was going on, the rumors, Giyuu's slightly more gloomy attitude, Sanemi's lesser aggressiveness and the group therapy. Sanemi didn't want to feel like he needed help, so he stood up angrily

Sanemi: You know what?!? We're-!! He said while pulling Giyuu up and carried him bridal style. Giyuu froze and blushes slightly Sanemi: Going for a walk!! Sanemi stormed out with Giyuu on his arms.

The others were confused and surprised but hey! They succeeded!
