You and Eddie have been butting heads since diapers, it's unknown how the beef started (some sources say Eddie shoved you in kindergarten) but you two were never able to get along. Well, sometimes you did.

Yes, you had some things in common, so what? Everyone had things in common with people they didn't like. But one thing you two didn't have in common is that you graduated when you were supposed to and Eddie didn't. That bruised his ego, and bad.

You started working, of course, after high school in a local vinyl shop. You did this while attending the community college in Hawkins.

It was a particularly fine day in the fall, you were studying on the counter since business was slow for the day when you heard the bell ring at the front of the door.
