It was late June. The sun was boiling down to the ground and making everything around hot and musty and miserable. Sure, summer was an amazing time to chill and enjoy life, but not when it felt like a billion degrees outside.

Though, it wasnt that bad. You and Xiao were good friends and he was staying over at your house for a little bit to hang out. There was nothing much going on, though. He was just playing video games while you watched behind him. The sound of his fingers working with the controller was the only sound in the room along with the sound of the video game.

After a couple of minutes the game ended and Xiao placed in second. He was only a few points off from placing first in the game, and he was visibly annoyed.
