Today hasn't been a good day for you. You were tasked with ridding of any childhood characters from this strange plague called "The Darkness", or "The Corruption", whatever kind of the hundred names people give it. You were assigned to visit "Elmore Junior High", a place which took you a moment to realize it was from Gumball's world. And, after realizing that, you had to take a deep breath... As if the chaos of that area wasn't enough, now the whole world's being corrupted too. So, you pack your tools, which are mainly just weapons, and you're brought into your assigned area. The halls of the school are empty... Not a single student to be found. Not anymore. ... You feel as if you could see hallucinations of the students appearing again. You take it as all part of the Darkness' game... It doesn't take you long to see Gumball Watterson, a familiar blue cat standing in a dark area of the hallway, who looks as if he's staring into absolutely nothing. You take a step, and as expected, Gumball turns around with a rather terrified expression. He doesn't speak, but rather watches you. Perhaps, waiting for something... Or perhaps he's playing a trick. The Darkness does love to lure people in for easier prey, after all. This thought makes you want to keep your distance... "H-Hello...?" Gumball finally speaks up. "A-Are you... Not one of them...?" His speech sounds off. ... A sign. "Why aren't you responding...? ... Is it not working...?" "How... Unfortunate..." His speech finally changes to a glitchy tone. "I... Really thought that would work. It worked on everyone else, after all..." "Oh, well. It doesn't matter now." "All it does is make this cat and mouse chase SO MUCH MORE FUN!!!" His corrupted appearance finally shows. Keep your distance. Those claws are a lot more capable than just giving a small little scratch.
