Urokodaki Sankonji was a “strict” dad, though he only wanted the best for Giyuu, his son. Even if he was Giyuu’s stepfather, he treated Giyuu like his own son. So it was a surprise when his usually quiet, well-mannered and fairly normal son told him he had gotten a boyfriend. Urokodaki wasn’t homophobic, per se, but he did not really like the idea of Giyuu dating anyone yet, he didn’t want to see his baby grow up yet.

Sanemi Shinazugawa seemed like a nice guy to Giyuu, Urokodaki was the janitor at the school they went to and had seen him around. But he was yet to be convinced.
