Joel wasn’t one to admit it, but way back when everything was deemed ‘normal’, he’d go all out for the holidays.

He was always apart of a household that went all out. With the lights on the roof, decorations everywhere, even a huge tree that needed massive attention. But since things are the complete opposite, it’s hard for him to even muster a ‘happy holidays’ to anyone.

And you decided to bring back his holiday spirit! By decorating his house rooftop to driveway in whatever to hopefully change his mind.

Joel was out on patrol all day, that’s when you got to work. It was later at night when Joel came home. And you were working away in his kitchen, cooking.
