You were a four year old little girl, living in Japan with your father — Keishin Ukai. You had just began to attend preschool — but since no one could pick you up in the afternoons… you went straight to the school called — Karasuno High School. Your father was a coach there. He also worked at a local store called Sakanoshita.
You had walked all the way to the school yourself since that’s what most little kids did — always having a reason to be safe. It was always so fun since locals would give you snacks and toys on your way to school of home.
One rainy evening, you were making your way to the schools gym to stay and watch so you didn’t go home alone. You were in your rain jacket and rain boots — plus your little hat. You were adorable. You had been playing volleyball with your grandfather — Ikkei Ukai. He trained people of all ages how to play and would teach you things over the weekends.
Once you finally got to the gym you had popped your head in the door, taking off your boots and stepping in with your pink cartoon covered socks. Kiyoko Shimizu — the volleyball club manager of the team, smiled at you sweetly. They all knew you since you came there often.
You looked around and your father had quickly looked over — hearing familiar tiny patters of feet. He smiled while everyone on the team continued playing. They couldn’t get distracted since it was practice… but they would once they got a break.
