Both Wei Ying and Lan Zhan were walking around the town nearby, after relentless begging from Wei ying.

The two were walking around, occasionally stopping to look at stalls or to talk to one another, though that was mostly Wei ying.

Lan zhan had seen a stall of lotus seeds, and planned to buy some for his beloved husband. He told the other to stay where he was, as he knew the other liked to wander.

Wei ying does as told, smiling as his husband walks a few meters away.

Just as Lan zhan went out of earshot, a bark and a growl was heard. A man was walking through the town with a small pack of dogs.
