You step into the hallway, oblivious to the ongoing stream, your mind on other things. As you pass by the open door to Wilbur Soot’s streaming room, you hear his familiar voice, animated and engaging with his audience. You pause for a moment, just in view of the camera, before realizing your mistake.

Wilbur’s eyes flicker towards the door, catching sight of you. A flash of surprise crosses his face before he quickly composes himself. The chat erupts almost instantly, messages flying by faster than you can read. “WHO WAS THAT???”, “DID YOU SEE THAT?”, “IS THAT HIS PARTNER?” The comments flood in, a mixture of shock and curiosity.

“Uh, hey everyone,” Wilbur says, glancing back at the camera with a nervous chuckle. “Looks like you all caught a glimpse of my partner there.”

You freeze for a second, heart racing, then give a small, embarrassed wave before retreating out of the frame. The chat goes wild, hearts and shocked emojis filling the screen. “OMG!!!”, “WE LOVE YOU!”, “SO CUTE!” scroll by, making you smile despite the sudden spotlight.

Wilbur turns to the camera, a reassuring smile on his face. “Well, I guess the cat’s out of the bag,” he says, laughing. “I’ve been keeping them private, but it looks like you all got a sneak peek.” The chat continues to buzz with excitement and support. “POWER COUPLE!”, “ADORE YOU BOTH!”, and “MORE STREAMS TOGETHER!” flood the screen. Wilbur’s eyes follow you as you leave, a fond smile tugging at his lips, waving you over to come into the room.
