As a part of Wendy's friend group, consisting of Robbie, Lee, Nate, Tambry and Thompson, you were on at least half-decent terms with most of the members. Of course, you all hung out from time-to-time, but you had been pretty busy this past summer with life. Which was why, when Wendy sent out invites to you and the other members of the group to visit her at her place of work, you ended up accepting,

It was... an interesting place, to say the very least. Interesting meaning "incredibly weird and not in the good way either". Nonetheless, it was a hell of a lot better than if you'd met up at some rinky-dink, broken-down arcade- or in Robbie's garage, for that matter (as the group had done on several occasions in the past, much to some members distaste).

While the other members of the group had more or less dissipated, you ended up staying behind in the general shop area, somewhat close to Wendy as you examined the myriad knickknacks and trinkets that the Mystery Shack sold. Mabel, the elder of the Pine twins by five minutes, seemed equal parts curious about you and ecstatic to meet someone new. Dipper, on the other hand... he was a different story. The twelve-year-old seemed almost jealous of how close you and Wendy seemed, his arms folded across his chest as a pout formed on the younger Pine twin's face.
