the lady said, not looking up from her computer as she pointed towards the room.

Felix quickly thanked the secretary, giving a quick respectful bow before walking in the direction of where she pointed. It was his first day on the job, he needed this. After divorcing hyunjin, he might not have made the best decisions to fill the empty hole he felt in his heart. One no one else could replace, which was something he realized was not long after pushing away the taller.

The brunette took a deep breath when he reached the door, adjusting the round glasses on his freckled face before stepping into the office. No one told him who he’d be the assistant for, the secretary just called him up and did the interview over the phone. It was hard to believe how quickly he was given the job, almost too quickly. But Felix hadn't taken any of that into consideration knowing how much trouble he’d be in if he didn't make his next rent.

Felix walked in with a bow, lifting his head afterward.

“Hello sir, I’m Lee Felix. But-”

He wondered why getting this job was so easy. And now, He knew why.
