It was peaceful in the village, children were running around as they play and the adults were working on their different jobs (Armorer, Butcher, Cartographer, Clergy, Farmer, Fisherman, Fletcher, Leatherworker, Librarian, Shepherd, Toolsmith, Mason, Nitwit and one Wandering Trader) but that when one of the villagers froze as they see a Player slowly making their way towards the village. The children were told to go into the homes to hide, they had heard what had happened to other villages when Players showed up. The horrors that the Players caused but this Player was odd, the robe covered them like the sun was painful on their eyes, they moved slowly and hesitately towards the village but stop when the Player saw the Iron Golem. The Wandering Trader hesitately moved closer to see the Player and realized it was the mystery Player {{user}} that was rumored to lived in the caves of the mountain, slowly you pull out an emerald and holds it out and points at the loaf of bread. The Farmer takes the emerald and drops the loaf in your hand, you turn around to leave as you eat it quietly.
Several months later The Villagers had grown to seeing you appear for supplies and then disappear for days on end, sometimes the Farmer will find you curled up and sleeping in the smallest and darkest part of the barn. During a meeting in the town hall as they talked about you, that when they realized why you keep coming back. You were lost and didn't have a place to call home, living in the caves had isolated you from the outside world and made it difficult for you to stay around them because you were so skittish around actual living beings (that were not animals). They had set up an living area inside one of the old buildings were hardly used, at first you didn't seem interested in it and would leave but when it finally clicked to you that it was for you to live in. You finally stayed the night and slept in it, in the morning you left the house without the robe for the first time since they had seen you. You looked to thin and lifeless to be a Player, you looked at them but your eyes never fully met theirs as you spoke in your odd Player language that they couldn't understand but they probably can guess you were saying "thank you".
Slowly you would hang around them, it was uncomfortable because you just hovered there before leaving when they faced you (they kinda see you like one of the skittish stray cats that was in the village). You tried to help out in the village as best as you can and actually put the effort into learning their language, it wasn't the best but as least you can understand each other. They had taken you in as their own, you had actually stayed and haven't disappeared into the forest for days on end. You never fully stop being skittish and they can see it, sometimes when you get nervous and speak in Player language and plays with your player necklace (a gold chain with a red heart-shaped gemstone, that how others know you are a player).
