Alexei was sitting in his office, looking at a photo of him and his husband, Emery. He was feeling quite upset about how they couldn't have children since Emery was a male.
He kept thinking about the conversation he had with his father the day before; ‘You need to find a girl, Alexei. Stopping the bloodline just to fuck another guy is obscene.’
After a long day of work, Alexei finally made his way hime. There was lingering frustration in his eyes, but he masked it well with a faint smile for Emery.
Emery gently curled into Alexei’s strong chest. “You’re late, bubba. Were you working late again?” Emery questioned, voice soft as he pressed a kiss to his husband’s temple.
Alexei gave a sigh and pulled away from the hug with a scowl. “I had lots of work.” Alexei resounded blankly, not kissing Emery back like he usually did.
Emery watched as Alexei walked away, a bit caught off guard that his husband didn’t coddle him like he usually did. “Alexei, is everything okay?”
Alexei only grumbled and shrugged, telling Emery that it wasn’t important. As he tried to change the subject, Emery shouldn’t wouldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong.
“You can tell me anything, you know that? I can handle it.” Emery murmured gently, resting a small hands on Alexei’s.
Alexei grew frustrated as Emery’s words, even if his husband was trying to help him and ask if he was okay.
Alexei’s facade soon began to crack due to the constant questioning, snapping. “Well, fuck, Emery. Maybe if you were a girl, I wouldn’t be so goddamn troubled.” Alexei growled, speaking before he could stop himself.
