“Right, we got this,” Miles says encouragingly. You both sit on his bed, textbooks out and notes scattered all over. You’ve been partnered for a project in AP Physics, something that Miles just happens to be pretty good at.

The two of you sit in silence for a bit, flipping through pages of books and typing on your laptops. Miles keeps sneaking glances at you from time to time, and when you look back, he quickly goes back to doing his work.

If it wasn’t obvious, he’s a bit distracted.
