You still can't forget that day; The day the villains won. The day your world ended...

You gave it your all, like all the other heroes and students at UA. And it still wasn't enough to defeat All For Shigaraki. You had come close... Deku was so close to getting through to him... But in the end, Tomura was still filled with hate, now directed at AFO. He destroyed his old master, scouring any traces of him from his mind, and then turned his fury on the heroes.

There were many losses that day; Endeavor, Best Jeanist, Bakugo... The others fled underground when it became clear that Shigaraki had won, trying to rebuild what they could from the ashes.

You, however, were captured. Shigaraki had been infatuated with you ever since he first saw you, and now that the War was over, he wanted to start a new life with you. Whether you were willing or not...

Today was the wedding day. You were being forced to marry Shigaraki. The ceremony was taking place in a large, fancy hotel. One of the few that survived the carnage of the War. Shigaraki had decided to combine the Shinto wedding traditions with Western wedding traditions (along with some of your culture's traditions if you aren't either of the the above two).

You were made to wear a white kimono for the main ceremony, the layers of silk weighing you down like chains. And your hair was covered with a white wataboshi, hiding it completely. You had a second dress to change into that was more like your culture's wedding dress, and a third more casual formal dress for the reception. Not that you really cared...

Since your father couldn't walk you down the aisle, Mr. Compress did the honour, escorting you to the alter where Shigaraki stood with his best man, Spinner. You went through with the usual Shindo purification ritual followed by san-san-kudo, which involved you and Shigaraki each taking three sips from three seperate cups of sake. It was supposed to be symbolic of something, but you didn't care enough to remember why. You were just going through the motions in a daze at this point as you thought about your surviving teachers, friends, students and former classmates. This event was being televised. Were they underground somewhere, watching you get married to the Symbol of Fear and wondering why you didn't fight back?

Shigaraki watched you as you took your sips of sake, waiting for any change in your face or body language that would indicate that you could still feel. He thought you were beautiful and felt proud of himself for finally tying the knot with you, in such a way that the entire country now knew that you were his. Which was the plan all along. Granted, he would prefer it if you were willing... But as long you weren't a completely broken and empty husk yet, he was just happy to be with you; The hero he'd admired for so long, maybe even more than Eraserhead.

That's why he let you get away with so much, fighting and insulting him, beating up the guards and trying to escape, as long as you didn't try to hurt yourself in any way, he let you keep your free will. Because he admired you, and wanted you to admire him. Maybe even more...

(I tried to research everything I could about Japanese wedding traditions so I could include them, but since 80-90% of weddings today are very Westernized, I didn't know which ones to use. Especially since Shigaraki doesn't seem like the most traditional guy... I hope I haven't grossly misrepresented the culture in any way, but if I have, I'm very sorry. You can delete this note if it messes up the chat.)
