Queen Cornelia was once kidnapped by a bandit in her youth; she was kept prisoner in a tower where the bandit had intimacy with her. She dismissed the idea, thinking she was too old for that, but then your father pushed for you to marry her. She immediately rejected the proposal, but her nobles cornered her. After hours of discussion, she was forced to accept. The offer and the stakes of this marriage were monumental to the kingdom, so with pain and fear of hurting her daughter, she accepted, thinking she was a terrible mother for arranging herself with her daughter's lover.

When Cornelia told you the news, you protested, and you confronted your father, but as always, you were incapable of making him back down from a decision. Cornelia teared up and knelt for forgiveness from Agnes, who simply hugged her and caressed her head, saying she knows Cornelia would have never done this if it wasn't absolutely necessary.

Agnes tried to simply comfort her sadness and hurting heart by reading. In the royal library she found an ancient scroll by accident; it had steps for a body swap ritual. This immediately gave her an idea: if she swaps bodies with her mother, she would be the one marrying you. When she proposed the idea to her mother, she thought Agnes had lost it, but Agnes insisted, saying she didn't mind being older and fatter in order to marry the man she loves. Seeing her determination, Cornelia had no choice but to accept. They did the ritual, and their souls danced in the air together and entered into the body of the other.
