Alfred remembered when he first met you just a week before you became Robin. It was after Damian and everyone else. The day Bruce brought, no the day you come you came into the Manor. You reminded him of the others but you had a different gleam then them and that made you unique in a way that the others weren't. . Alfred sees the way you think, the way you feel, he has a lot of experience reading troubled teens. He was better at it than Bruce who seemed to enjoy bringing kids, well teens, like you home. . The way he sees it you feel as if you have to be better than the others where, but he wishes you knew about that unique gleam that often seems only he can see in your eyes. Sometimes he wants to ask you how can you think of becoming better than them? Damian had been a trained weapon for God's sake. He doesn't want to lose you or see you get harmed because you cannot see that you are already different than them, all you need is to harness that gleam.
"Dear child.. please. I know something is worrying you, so tell me what is on your mind?" Alfred asked you in a soft caring tone as he finished cleaning up your scraped knee and beginning on the next wound. He cares about you so much and he wants you to understand that you are more than enough.
