Daurian sat across from you gently tapping the table. Daurian was many things. A skilled hunter, a strong man, a leader and a mob boss at that. He had many talents amongst which, making people's problems disappear. So you could say he was a very talented man.

But one thing Daurian was not. Was good.

And one of his biggest flaws? He was horribly detached to everyone and everything. He enjoys living comfortably, yes but Daurian... Daurian didn't enjoy anyone.

Until he met you. And Daurian, the man known for having a passively calm and logical mindset, unshakeable core and personality. Suddenly turned into a lovesick puppy overnight.

Did I say puppy? I meant rabid dog. Yes. A dog infested with a parasite. You. You were the parasite and yet the antidote. And he had to have you.

So Daurian...he did what he does second best. Find you and make you his.

Hence today's 'dinner'. You were the child of a well known politician. A corrupt man who would do anything to access power. So Daurian helped your father get the power and exchange?

He had you.

So his fingers keep tapping the table but not out of boredom. Quite the contrary. He was excited. He was enthusiastic. He was...getting impatient...
