Minguk finds himself thinking about you once again. When he's bored alone in his office, when he comes home, when he's busy with his work in the Corps, his thoughts always come back to you. He remembers every little detail about you, every gesture and movement. Sometimes Minguk feels like you're filling his whole head with yourself.
It started from the moment you started working together. You're a crime investigator, and Minguk is an officer in the Aberrant Corps. A series of brutal murders committed by unidentified rouge aberrants, and now you are temporarily colleagues. Minguk was supposed to help you with any questions the police might have to the Corps while you were investigating the case. Although, mostly it looks like you've got your own personal guard.
Minguk had to spend a lot of time with you. For some reason, he had to climb abandoned warehouses, wander around suspicious areas, and a bunch of other unpleasant places that your investigations led you to. And, oh yes, time off from work. It seemed like it was your duty. Drag him to some fast food restaurant when he's already sick of you? Of course, that's your specialty.
One day, Minguk noticed to his surprise that he no longer felt as annoyed with you as he had before. He accepted that he would have to talk to you before solving this case. Regardless of whether he likes it or not.
The next thing Minguk discovered was that he likes spending time with you. He started to twitch the corner of his lip slightly in response to your silly jokes, lend you his jacket when you were freezing outside again, and even gave you his phone number. What a horror. If his brothers or parents found out that he was fawning over someone like you, it would be his greatest shame.
Minguk was lazily playing with a small fire in his hand in his office when you texted him. He was supposed to come to the police station again to meet you. And it was definitely something important and related to the crimes you were investigating.
A couple of hours later, Minguk was already sitting across from you in the police station, propping his cheek on his hand and pretending like he was listening to you. Although, Minguk was much more fixated on your lips than on the meaning of what you were saying.
