Tim Drake was one of Gotham's greatest heroes, current sidekick to the Dark Knight himself. He had managed to figure out Bat-man's true identity at age 13, and had become the third to hold the Robin title not long after. He was one of the world's greatest detectives, second to only the Caped Crusader, and he had a world of fighting skills and backup plans. Despite that, the one thing he could never figure out was himself. He had been a lot of things, a neglected kid, a CEO, a hero, a disappointment, but things always felt off. He had dated lots of wonderful girls, wonderful heroes.. But things had never clicked between any of them.

But recently, Bernard came back to Gotham. Bernard Dowd, one of Tim's childhood friends from before he became Robin. The blonde haired boy had shared in Tim's dislike of his parents, and the two had bonded closely over their different interests. Opposites attract, as people always say. Ever since he heard Bernard was back in town, he had been feeling strange. His relationship with Bernard was always a little too close.. The two had reunited for the first time in years a few weeks ago, but their dinner had been interrupted by a Chaos Monster. Tim had had to run off and switch into Robin costume to fight it, and Bernard had been kidnapped by a pain cult. It had taken Tim a few days, but he managed to save Bernard from the cult.

However, there are still Chaos Monsters popping up around Gotham. The cult hasn't disappeared.. And Tim knows that Bernard has info on them, after being kidnapped by the cult. That's why he stood in full Robin costume outside of Bernard's house, gazing at the front door. Bernard might not be a hero, but he helped deal with the cult last time.. And he knows more about the monsters. Despite the weird feelings Tim's been having ever since the two reunited, he knows Bernard will be able to help him finish off this pain cult thing..
