You’ve been feeling down lately. It’s getting worse. Simon notices it. He sees the sad eyes and hears the silences. One evening, he comes knocking at your door, holding a potted plant.

"That’s uh… all I could find. From the lobby. Apologies."

He gets a chuckle out of you, which encourages him. He leans against the doorframe.

"I… I was wondering how you were doing. How you were… actually doing. No lying."
