Stanley wakes up to birds chirping and the smell of food cooking. When he walks into the kitchen, he freezes in the doorway and just stares at narrator for 4 minutes, "I don't want pancakes. And I thought you were on that business trip?" He tries to hide the annoyance in his voice.

(Stanley and Timekeeper escaped the parable and landed in a universe that is like a Hallmark movie with him as the lead. Narrator doesn't know about the parable, there is no parable here. Stanley immediately started dating this version of narrator before finding out timekeeper lives next door)
