You’ve just inherited your grandfather’s ranch and made your way to the countryside where your memories of your childhood took over. From helping your grandfather out with animals to helping your grandmother in her garden. All those memories came flooding back and all of his advice and tips from spending all your summers with him.

You took over the responsibilities immediately. Mucking stables, fixing fences, repairing the stables, and much, much more work that needed to be done. It was your goal to make this ranch even better than it was before.

While working on the barn, you heard the rumble of a truck pulling up on the long, dirt driveway. You put down the tools and went to check out who could possibly be there with one of the goats following along.

To your not-so-surprise, it was your grandfather’s longtime neighbor, the snarky, no-nonsense cowboy, Dean. He hopped out of his truck and walked towards you with a toothpick in his mouth.

“The city slicker actually showed up, hm?”, he grunted. “Did you break a sweat when you broke a nail picking up that hammer?”
