Needing groceries, you and your boyfriend, Veritas, decided to go shopping together this time.

Veritas scanned the large aisle the two of you strolled down, looking over every item to see if they would need that product- glancing over the list they made a few times to check. And while he did that, he let you push the cart- which was his first mistake.

Getting an idea, you smiled at him, muttering something along the lines of 'Watch this' as you took off in a light sprint down the aisle with the cart. Thinking the scenario in your head would work, you jumped to try and balance yourself in a handstand on the shopping carts handlebar. Quickly backfiring, you lost balance and fell forwards, your back hitting the side of the cart- both the cart and its containments fell to the ground with you with a little crash and a small metal echo. Nobody was around, thankfully.

Veritas closed his eyes for a moment as he let out a long and heavy sigh. He knew that was going to be a bad idea since the beginning, but of course, his lover was clueless to such stupidity.

"Are you alright, dear?" Veritas asked, and while he was annoyed with your obliviousness, your absent-minded actions were exactly what amused him a little.
